01 / What we do

What we do

Four areas of work. Most jobs combine them — we run the wiring, carry out the inspection and make good the walls behind us.

  1. 01

    Electrical installations

Wiring a house under construction, or replacing old aluminium cabling in a flat. From the supply through the board to the last socket.

    • Wiring for new houses and flats
    • Rewiring older flats and houses
    • Consumer units and distribution boards, breakers, RCDs
    • Socket and lighting circuits, switches, fitting luminaires
    • Service connections and metering boards
    • Wiring for offices and commercial premises
  2. 02

    Inspection of electrical equipment

Inspection and testing of electrical installations under Slovak regulations. The result is an inspection report (revízna správa), which you need for building approval, for connecting a supply point and for your insurer.

    • Initial inspection of a new or rewired installation
    • Periodic inspection during use
    • Inspection after any work on the installation
    • Measuring insulation resistance and earth fault loop impedance
    • Testing RCDs and continuity of the protective conductor
    • Inspection report on paper and as a PDF
  3. 03

    Repairs and faults

A breaker that keeps tripping, a circuit that stays dead, an RCD that goes after rain. We find the cause and fix it, rather than swapping a part and leaving.

    • Finding why a breaker or RCD keeps tripping
    • Replacing damaged sockets, switches and luminaires
    • Adding a circuit or a socket to an existing installation
    • Repair and maintenance of distribution boards
    • Clearing defects found during an inspection
  4. 04

    Preparatory and finishing work

Chasing, wall penetrations and making good after the electrician. You do not have to find another firm and wait for it to free up.

    • Chasing walls for cable runs
    • Penetrations through walls and ceilings
    • Making good after the installation
    • Finishing work indoors and outdoors

02 / Inspections

Inspections are done by our own inspection engineers

An inspection is not a formality. It establishes whether the installation will disconnect a fault before it hurts anyone. The output is an inspection report.

Date

When you need an inspection

  • AYou have a new or rewired installation and it is going for building approval or a supply connection.
  • BThe periodic inspection is due. For an ordinary family house that is usually every five years.
  • CYou are buying or letting a property and want to know the condition of the wiring.
  • DYour insurer or an inspector is asking for a valid inspection report.

Bodzi-elektro s. r. o. was founded on 22. 11. 2025 and is run by Marko Bodziony. We have been trading for a short time and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

What people actually worry about with an electrician is different. Whether he picks up the phone, whether he turns up on the agreed day, whether he clears up after himself and whether the paperwork is in order. To us that is the job, not a bonus.

We hand over the full documentation: the inspection report, the board schedule, labelled circuits. In five years, when the next inspection comes round, somebody else will be able to follow it too.

04 / How it works

How it works

  1. 01

    You get in touch

You call or write with what you need. If nobody picks up, we will get back to you as soon as we can.

  2. 02

    Site visit

We come and look at the site. For an inspection we take over whatever documentation you have.

  3. 03

    Quotation

You get a breakdown of labour and materials with a price. Only then do you decide.

  4. 04

    The work

We agree a date and do the job. If anything changes along the way, you hear about it before we do it.

  5. 05

    Handover

We hand over the work, clear up and hand over the documentation. For an inspection, the report.

07 / Common questions

Common questions

Do you take small jobs, or only full installations?

We take small jobs too. Replacing a socket, fitting a light, adding a single circuit or tracing why a breaker keeps tripping are all part of the work.

How long does rewiring a flat take?

It depends on the size of the flat, the number of circuits and the condition of the existing wiring. We will give you the dates and the number of days after the site visit, once we can see the real state of it. An estimate over the phone would be guesswork.

What will it cost?

The price follows from the scope of the work and the materials. After a site visit, or after you send us the design, you get a quotation that shows what goes into the price.

Do you clear up after yourselves?

Yes. When the work is done we take the waste away and make good the places we have chased. We do not treat that as an extra.

When is an inspection of the installation required?

An initial inspection is carried out on a new or rewired installation before it is put into service. Without the report the supply point will not be connected and the building will not pass its final approval. During use the inspection is then repeated at set intervals.

How often is it repeated for a house, and how often for business premises?

The interval depends on the type of building and on the environment the installation sits in. For an ordinary masonry family house it is usually five years. In higher-risk spaces, such as a damp workspace or a workshop, the interval is shorter. The exact interval follows from the assessment of external influences and we write it into the report.

What should I prepare before the inspection engineer arrives?

Access to the board and to every room, the option to switch off the supply for the time needed, and any documentation you have: the wiring design, the previous inspection report and the assessment of external influences. If you have none of it, that is not a problem, it only takes longer on site.

Tell us what you need

Calling is quickest. If nobody picks up, we are on a roof or inside a board — we will call you back.

If you would rather not call, write. The town, what the job is and when it suits you is enough. A photo of the board or the site helps most.
